  • Manage multiple litigation counsel in complex class action litigation successfully controlling costs and reducing outside counsel legal fees by more than 7 percent.
  • Assist in-house counsel in directing extensive project to implement a legal matter management and billing database. Projects included: negotiating the software agreement; reviewing business practices and creating business rules; organizing legal matters; drafting outside counsel policy geared to ensure oversight by in-house counsel which has led to a reduction in legal fees, and, overseeing implementation of the database.

Cases involved high risk/high value matters including class action defense. Drafted, revised and negotiated numerous agreements including multi-million dollar, customer and vendor, software and hardware, and outsourcing and consulting agreements.
  • As Senior Counsel at Lenox, Incorporated, provided broad-based legal counsel in such areas as intellectual property, marketing, contract disputes, bankruptcy, antitrust and internet issues. Significant experience in drafting, revising and negotiating all types of agreements. Played a major role in supporting employment issues including EEOC, FMLA, affirmative action and ADA.
